After years of playing with groups in the rock, blues, and indie scenes, Dayton, OH musician and songwriter Max Souders took a step back to find his own voice. Souders came back to the scene after reaching into the pools of the swing and classical eras, bringing with him a set list of original and timeless music that sounds more like a movie soundtrack than a series of songs. Steeped heavily in pre-war jazz and bluegrass, his guitar work and soft tenor give Souders a unique sound that hails back to the music halls of old.
